Not able to track time with tempo timesheets.

Svein Økland April 30, 2016

There seams to be a bug with Tempo, tracking work is not possible and we dont seam to be able to figure out why.  seams like a bug. Have tried to uninstall all files and the reinstall, but same results.

Hi Svein,

Can you please confirm that you have the Tempo Time Tracking permission?

That looks like your browser is blocking pop-ups or is incompatible.  What browser is it?  Also, what are the versions of JIRA, Tempo and the browser?

I have tested in safari firefox and Chrome on a mac. All browsers in latest version. The tempo plugin is in latest version (re installed today) and JIRA is in 7.1.2.

Ok that's a good test.   Does the rest of JIRA work ok?  (It looks like some of it was failing in places where you don't have Tempo).  What happens if you disable Tempo - do you still have buttons that do nothing?

Do you have any tools in a browser that would let you examine the structure of the page (firebug for example)

Are there any errors in the logs?

more than 3 years later and the situation is not much different.

Tempo just does not work on the latest mac osx on firefox or chrome

have to reload the browser each time you want to do some action sometimes multiple reloads before anything actually works.

time tracking is becoming a major time waster with Jira/Tempo
