Merging JIRA duplicate users using regular expressions

Hakob Simonyan March 27, 2013

I have used ScriptRunner to merge duplicate users in JIRA after importing of the users from LDAP.

For the testing I have ran it for some users and it worked.

Could you please suggest how it can be checked in case when number of users is more than 400 ?
As, I need to replace <username>@example.com with <username>, I would like to know if the mentioned Add-On supports regular expression usage.

If there is no such option, please help me to figure out this problem.

Thanks in advance,

Hakob

This has been answered before - see https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/75640/how-can-i-use-the-groovy-runner-jira-user-id-rename-form-the-command-line . There is a more recent example, but search is not finding it.
