Merging JIRA duplicate users using regular expressions

I have used ScriptRunner to merge duplicate users in JIRA after importing of the users from LDAP.

For the testing I have ran it for some users and it worked.

Could you please suggest how it can be checked in case when number of users is more than 400 ?
As, I need to replace <username> with <username>, I would like to know if the mentioned Add-On supports regular expression usage.

If there is no such option, please help me to figure out this problem.

Thanks in advance,
