Map git parameters to hock parameters

Is there any availability to pass any parameter of hook. Consider hook has been fire on merge after pull request, can I pass this branch name to executable using this hook?

You should be able to do this by reading stdin. All ref updates will come line-by-line in format <old-value> <new-value> <ref-name>. <ref-name> is the name of branch you are looking for.
