Logging time during a Bank Holiday

Hi,

How can I prevent people from logging time during Public/Bank holidays?

Hi Ioana,

it is not possible to prevent users from logging time on holidays or weekends. If you have set the public/ bank holiday into the holiday scheme, it will appear as a non-working day in the Timesheet and this day will not be included in the "required" hours.

Kind regards,

Susanne

As I know there is no default possibility in jira to do that, as an option - maybe develop the servlet filter that will remove logging options during that holidays. Also it is possible to allow user to log time during holidays, but in certain transition create validator that checks that holidays in worklog and will generate an error.
