Hello
In my organization we are using issues w/ type called 'Patch Request'. It's something like container issue. It collects all other issues that should be released w/ current patch. I'm wondering is it possible to link it also w/ test cycle (defined in Zephyr plugin in jira)? Eg. using the same build version or some other atribute?
Regards
Seba
Hi Seba,
We do not have any example reports. It is up to you how you want to generate your reports with ZAPI.
Kind Regards,
Emily
Hi Seba,
It is not possible to link a Standard JIRA issue type to a Zephyr Test Cycle. Zephyr Test Cycles are special Zephyr custom fields and do not follow the same rules as a Standard JIRA issue type which is the ability to link one stanard JIRA issue type to another.
If you are looking to create some kind of traceability report to see which Jira issue types are linked to a test case, then what executions are linked to the test case you can look into ZAPI. ZAPI is our Zephyr for JIRA API's that allow you to grab raw data and craft your own reports. It also allows you to bring automation into Zephyr for JIRA. For more information on ZAPI:
