JIRA Workflow Toolbox - Last Comment virtual field is not working properly. v2.0.22

I'm using the Last Comment virtual field to validate a comment has been entered entered during a transition.

The validation is working in the sense my message is appearing, however, even when I enter text in the comments field I'm not able to proceed past the transition.

This is the validator that has been setup.

If field Last comment matches the following parsed regular expression: (\s).

Message to show when validation fails: Comment is required.

The problem is the regular expression you are using. "\s" matches a string with a single blank. Try using ".+", like in the following screenshot:

Using "Validation based on regular expression" to require a comment in a transition:

Once configured, the transition looks like this:

Regards.

Thank you. Once the regular expresssion was changed to ".+" the validation and transition worked as expected.
