JIRA Role Based Estimations and Tracking - Accuracy Report by User

Data Service July 13, 2016

Hello,

we currently evaluate the plugin and so far the time tracking on specific roles works fine.

We want to report the time logged by role and specific users. If we select User = "all" in the "Estimations Accuracy Report (by Roles)", we get an overview of the roles and a total number of logged time. If we select a User ("Show estimation accuracy for this user") it's not finding any issues, although the user has logged work via the Role Based Estimation Plugin.

Can we generate a report by role and specific User?

Thanks!

Using JIRA 6.4.13 and Role Based Estimations 1.3.7

Hi,
The user specific report gets generated based on what role a user has been assigned to, in each of the issues and the time logged against that issue. In simple words, for a "x" user, for "y" role, only those issues will be returned, in which "x" was assigned to role "y", using our Assignees (By Roles) CF. This makes sense, as the report of a specific user will only be based on issues, of which the user had specific role.

On the other hand, the overall report is based on the complete estimations and time spent per role, by any of the users.

Please let us know, if this helps.

Thank You,
Abhinav.
