JIRA Issue Collector plugin: Attaching a file throws a script error in IE 8, disables the submit button

Ray Hundley August 30, 2012

I am testing out the JIRA Issue Collector, v1.2.4, in our JIRA 5.0 instance. When using the plugin in IE 8 and trying to attach a file (clicking the browse button, selecting the file, then pressing open) the submit button becomes disabled and the browser thrown the following script error (Note: The server name is the URI is blanked out on purpose)
