JIRA-Automation Testing a created flow

Is there a way to test a created flow in AUTOMATION?

My Use Case:
When creating an (Portfolio-)Initiative i want to create different EPICs and their Stories in several projects. While testing, it would be great run it once "dry" / without really creating the tickets in all that projects.

Hi Claas,

Unfortunately not. It is not something we can really offer either, as many rules depend on the actions that take place previously in the rule e.g creating and issue, then doing something to that issue after.

As alternative what we see our customers do is setup either a "sandbox" instance, with the same setup or sandbox projects where they can test the rules.

Once they have the rules working the way they like, they then use the export rules command, and then import them into their production environment. Would that work for you?

Cheers,
Scott.

Yes, that works, thx, i didn't see the option ;-)

What about an editor-option, where we can easily edit the JSON inside the backoffice?

Thanks,
Claas
