Is it possible to renumber test steps in a test?

Is it possible to renumber test steps within a test in Zephyr?  For example I have a test with 4 test steps  I add a new step in between step 2 and 3. Is there a way to automatically update the new step number to say step 3 and then change steps 3 and 4 to 4 and 5?

Hi Melinda

Thanks for your interest in Zephyr.

Yes, there is a way to do this.In your list of test steps Hold down your mouse pointer over the small vertical dotted lines as marked in the creen shot attached.By holding down , drag it to the row you want the test step to be shifted.Once you do it the test steps would be re numbered accordingly. For example in my second screen shot attached here I have shifted or exchanged the test steps 1 and 3.

Hope the explanation helps.Let us know if you have any further queries
