Is Speakeasy working with JIRA 5.1.x?

Deleted user November 11, 2012

Hi, I want to install Speakeasy plugin under JIRA 5.1.7 but cannot find it inside JIRA Plugin Manager.

Description of the plugin says it's for JIRA 4.3 - 5.0.7, but just want to be sure...

Hi Michal,

I did a quick check in our Marketplace, and I found that the latest plugin version is only compatible up to JIRA 5.0.7, and Confluence 4.2.4. For more info on the plugin version history, you may kindly follow the URL below:

Anyway, I have tried to deploy Speakeasy 1.3.16 on my test 5.1.7 installation, and it seems that the plugin is loaded without any issue with the JIRA version. And also, I found the following Answers discussion which may indicate that the plugin latest version should be compatible with JIRA 5.1.x as well:

Therefore, it seems that the plugin may not be searchable from UPM because the plugin version history (compatibility matrix) may not been updated. Hence, you may try to install the plugin manually instead to your JIRA installation:
- Shut down JIRA
- Download the plugin .jar file, from Atlassian Marketplace
- Move the plugin .jar file to $JIRA_HOME/plugins/installed-plugins
- Restart JIRA, and the plugin should be deployed to your JIRA installation

I hope that the info helps!

Cheers.
