Invision Plugin to Jira- Cannot attach prototype

I've been struggling to get Jira/Invision workng together. I get an error when I try to attach the protype. Invision support isn't helpful so does teh Jira commuity have a clue? The plugin is installed correctly and EDIT ISSUES permission is granted to all users.

I get the error message "Dang it! There was a problem with that URL. Please input a prototype's share URL" -this implies a permissions issue but all permissions are correct!!!???!!

This widget could not be displayed.

I also have this problem even though the user (myself) is in the group that has Edit Issues permission and I've used the Permission helper to verify.
