Inline script is not working in Script runner custom listener Edited

I tried implementing a custom listener in script runner. I configured the custom listener for all projects in my jira instance and to the "Issue Created" and "Issue Updated" events.

Jira server version: 7.2.10

Script runner version: 5.0.14

This is the small snippet I tried

log.debug "hello" "test"

The listener give no failure in the execution but I do not see the log message either in catalina.out  or in atlassian-jira.log files, instead I see a warning message

WARNING [http-bio-443-exec-12] com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.WebComponent.filterFormParameters A servlet request, to the URI jiraserver/jira/rest/scriptrunner/latest/canned/com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.common.StaticCompilationChecker, contains form parameters in the request body but the request body has been consumed by the servlet or a servlet filter accessing the request parameters. Only resource methods using @FormParam will work as expected. Resource methods consuming the request body by other means will not work as expected.

Please post any ideas on how to execute the custom listener in script runner.

What if you do

log.warn "this is a warning"

Your log level could be too high for these statements to appear.
