In Zephyr, if a bug gets fixed does the test in some way become flagged for retest?

Reino Tanttila September 18, 2017

Imagine that you are running a test cycle and you encounter an issue that blocks the complete execution of the test.  You fail the test and write up a defect.  The defect then becomes fixed and you verify the fix.  Is there some type of flag that one can search for or reference that the associated defect has been fixed and the test can then be run?

Hi Reino

Thanks for your interest in Zephyr.

Currently there is no explicit way of a flag or notification that informs the test case to continue its execution.

For now you will have to rely on searching and checking the status of the defect. However thanks for the suggestion and we will raise a feature request with our product team for them to consider in future releases

Thanks
