Importing *.csv Test Cases vis Importers Plugin into Zephyr for JIRA

Mel A April 30, 2013

Our test cases are ready in *.csv files and we were able to import them into JIRA with CSV importer. However, test details fields - test step, test date, and expected result - are not in the field mapping drop down. Cases imported appeared as Zephyr test since we were able to map the issue type.

Is there a graceful way to import test cases into Zephyr fields with importers plugin? Thank you!

Hi Mel,

There is a way to import using our Zephyr for JIRA tests utility importer. Below is a link to download it:

https://bitbucket.org/zfjdeveloper/zfj-importer/downloads/

Caveat: when using the Zephyr for JIRA tests utility importer we use a different mapping convention than the JIRA importer. The JIRA importer has you map the name of the column where as we have you enter the column letter; A, B, C, D and so on.

Kind Regards,

Emily
