If we use Zephyr Community Edition do we need a license for every Jira user also

Catherine Mayer August 5, 2014

We have Jira and I'd like to add Zephyr Community Edition for Test Management. Fewer than 10 people would access Zephyr but more than 10 will access Jira. Do the number of licenses need to match?

Hi Catherine,

No, the licenses do not have to match with the Zephyr Community Edition. That rule only applies if you are looking to use Zephyr for JIRA which is a completely separate product from our Zephyr Community Edition.

For the Community Edition what you will need is a Windows machine to install on (the Community Edition only offers a windows installer) and to make sure that machine does not have any other present tomcats or databases. Below is a link to our requirements:

Kind Regards,

Emily
