If I didn't select due date, biggantt do this for me and made me upset

vidoq December 25, 2018

So the problem is, all issues has due dates, even if assignee\author didn't select due date.
It changes to now() automatically by biggantt

I know that in plugin settings I set:

end date = jira.due date

if I choose
end date = customfield[end date] biggantt created

problem will be solved, but another one will arise, in this situation, when I change due date in issue, it won't be automatically updated on gantt chart and vice versa, if I made changes on biggantt chart (dependencies or moving back and forth), in issue due date won't be automatically changed.

So, I need:
1. if due date field empty = it should be empty from now on before it will be filled by assignee or author

2. if due date field has date = it should be automatically updated if some changes made on biggantt chart!

How can I do it?
Can it be solved by right settings of biggantt plugin or should I use scriptrunner or other automation script plugins? Who has script example?

Hi,

With Start date/Due Date task period mapping, BigGantt uses these fields' values to display task bars. So, even if a task has Due Date empty, BigGantt will populate it in order to mark that task's end on a Gantt's timeline.

So, as far as BigGantt's settings, there's nothing else to be configured to meet your requirements, sorry.

Best,
Tomek
