How would I create and link stories under a created epic with manual trigger?

I'm trying to automate a recurring issue but only when triggered manually.

Is there a way to have a user create an epic and when triggered manually it would automate creating stories then linking to the parent epic?

Hi Jason,

Yes you can do this pretty easily with a combination of a manual trigger and create issue action.

To link the 2, select "epic link" from the field selector in the create issue action, and then type the smart value {{triggerIssue.key}}.
