How to test RoadRunner

I will have a look at the new version of RoadRunner plugin

I know I need a personal licence of Confluence on my local machine to use RoadRunner but is there a way to 'test' it?

I tried to install a free trial licence but connecting to that instance gives me a 403 forbidden error.

Enable Remote API as admin in the localhost installation. Login as admin using browser, and then General Configuration > Edit > Checkmark against Remote API.
