How to place reference to the object inside the body of POST http request (automated task Insight) Edited

I need to start remote task when some object are changed.

So i decided to use automation with HTTP PUT method to run activities on  remote orchestrator but i have no idea how to put reference to object Id that changed inside the body.

Hi Andrey,

From Insight version 5.1 which is planned to be released within the coming weeks, placeholders will be available for the all the actions, not only for the groovy script. So if it's possible, you could wait for that release, I think that will make it much easier for you.

But yes, it is possible to do this today using groovy scripts.
For more information, take a look at

At we have some examples of groovy script that could be used as an inspiration, and at we have documentation about our API.

Have you any plans to implement HTTPS into Http Request method for automation ?
