How to link the post function auto created issues to the parent issue?

Hello, 

I have created new automated issues by using post funtions feature. I need to link all these issues to the parent issue.  Found the below link however It does not work. What am I doing wrong???

I dont know how you create your issues in postfunction.

But a year ago ive written a groovy script as postfunction to create a new issue and directly link it with the issue the postfunction was execute from.

So this would be a way.

I think its impossible to automate the linking after the new issue has been created. But not sure.
