How do you view all projects in Tempo Timesheets?

Kevin Ramm December 17, 2014

Hello,

Is it possible to create a view in Tempo to view all projects? I want to be able to have this same view in my screenshot, but listing out numerous projects. Our company needs this view for exporting to Excel for our invoice process. Any help on accomplishing this would be greatly appreciated!Screen Shot 2014-12-17 at 10.02.25 AM.png

Thank you,

Kevin

Hi Kevin

This is not supported in the current Tempo Timesheets version, but it has been requested in https://tempoplugin.jira.com/browse/TT-297

We value feedback and comments on how we can make Tempo better, so if you'd like to contribute to this request, please vote on it and add a comment that will help Tempo developers to implement this request.

Here are some suggestions for workarounds in the current version of Tempo Timesheet.

1. You can use the Advanced Timesheet to generate data on a filter (i.e. all issues that belong to the projects you wish to view) https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO/Advanced+Timesheet
Note that you can select Project in the Row menu to give you the sum for each project on the report.
https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO/Additional+Rows+and+Columns

2. You can also use the Tempo API to export all data on a high level permissions as documented on this page:
http://blog.tempoplugin.com/2012/creating-excel-reports-using-high-level-permissions-api-export/

Hope this helps.
