How do I update WBS Gantt Chart with my JIRA TASKS and SUBTASKS

I have a JIRA project with a Kanban board which has a workflow BACKLOG,TO DO, IN PROGRESS, DONE. I am logging time taken to complete TASKS and SUB TASKS. These tasks are shown on the WBS Gantt Chart.  I want to know if JIRA can update progress of TASKS automatically into WBS Gantt Chart? Or do I have to manually move along tasks in the Gantt chart.  Also when a task goes to Done can this be reflected in WBS Gantt Chart automatically?

Hi Tim,

There is not currently a public REST API for WBS Gantt-chart but has the ticket template function: Managing an issue template 
You can convert issues to the template, share with teams and create issues on the Gantt from the issue template in the specified project. Also, It's possible to take over the duration and dependencies on issues templates.
