How do I an an auto-watcher to issues raised on a project?

I would like to automatically add one user as a watcher to all issues raised on a project. How do I do this?

Hi Laura,

The way this would be done natively within JIRA would be via a Postfunction, however, there is not a post function in JIRA to add a watcher or update that particular field.  In light of this you would need to use an add-on like ScriptRunner or Bob Swift's Update on Transition for JIRA.
