How can I create an issue macro for repeatable tasks using Automation for JIRA?

For some issues, my users need to perform the same tasks over and over again. For example we want to copy internal issues to a public project.  Is there some way that we can setup a macro or manual trigger for Automation for JIRA to do this for certain issues?

So this question is related to Manual Triggers.  For a full list of what rule components are available see our complete list.

To solve the scenario in this question, you can setup a rule like this:

So we simply use the manual trigger and then create a new issue in our public project.  The create issue uses smart-values to copy various fields to the new public issue:

We also use the "Advanced" section to create an issue link from the new issue back to the issue we're copying. Now on an internal issue, any user in the administrators group can simply hit "Raise public feedback issue" to quickly create a public issue:
