Hide Customer Request Types Groups based on User Groups that access JSD Customer portal

I know for a fact that this is possible via Extension for Jira Service Desk plugin. But if i am using groups to distinct CRTs is there any way how to hide the whole group at once? Even with the group label to be also hidden in the portal.
