Guide to making a Built-In Script or allowing command-line parameters

Marc Temkin April 23, 2015

I have created a groovy script that copies all Epics and their dependencies.  I want to have a user interface like those found under the Built In Scripts so the users can enter parameter values.  I have not been able to find any guide on how to do this.  Can you provide documentation on how to do this.

Setup:

JIRA v6.4.1  (standalone)

ScriptRunner 3.0.14

Windows 7 workstation

Running JIRA as a program, not a service

See https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Built-In+Scripts#Built-InScripts-Built-InScriptsHackingNotes

Along with that you can unzip add-on's jar and look at real implementation in Groovy.

Thanks. I was already aware of that. I was actually looking for something that involved less work if that is possible.
