Git Integration Plugin Configuration issue

Hi,

We are using Atlassian JIRA (v5.0.4#731-sha1:3aa7374) licensed version and we were trying to install theGit Integration Plugin for JIRA.

The default version we installed was 1.2.7 and on clicking Menu >> Plugins >> Git Integration Plugin we got 404 with

Could not execute action [ViewGitRepositories]:Could not initialize class com.atlassian.upm.license.storage.lib.VersionChecker

This was answered in the below post

And according to the correct answer we uninstalled and installed 1.2.6 version and now getting

Could not execute action [ViewGitRepositories]:Cannot autowire object because the Spring context is unavailable

I found the below answer but looks like it was for 1.1

minimal supported version of Jira is 5.1
