Error when trying to indent a ticket on a Structure board

Receiving the following error when trying to indent a ticket on my Structure board "Cannot move issues inside JQL query result" (see embedded screenshot). Anyone know why? My goal is to nest related tickets under a parent (without making them a sub task). 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
