Does the UPM require one single trusted site for retrieval of plugins?

I would like to understand whether the UPM re-directs users to multiple vendor websites or is all of their plugin content sourced by a single Atlassian location? This is in regards to having difficulty with our internal restrictions on web surfing...

I am pretty sure you are only directed to atlassian.com sites and in particular

http://marketplace.atlassian.com

There may be some links to

http://plugins.atlassian.com

since the website changed it url just recently.
