Does Role Tracking work with Tempo Timesheets?

Hi,

We’re using tempo timesheets with jira.  We’ve installed “JIRA Ultimate Role Tracking and Estimation” addon.  We switch the issue to “Role Specific Estimates” but it reverts back.  Is your addon compatible with Tempo Timesheets, if not, may I please request that ability?

Hi Evan,

Our plugin is partially compatible with the TEMPO.

You can use our plugin to only track "Original Estimates" and not the log work by role feature, by going in the Role Based Scheme setting, and check the "Original Estimates Only" check box while editing the used scheme.

You can also use our plugin's complete feature, by avoiding logging work via TEMPO's log work modal, this is because the TEMPO and our plugin both clash when time is logged from the respecting log work screen. If you log work through TEMPO, it pushes the Role Estimates into "Out Of Sync" state.
