Disable Try it Out! feature

Deleted user July 11, 2017

The Try it Out! feature can be restricted to specific HTTP methods, or disabled entirely by specifying a value of "none".

The above is stated in the documentation, however I can't find any place for specifying the value. Is there a specific key that should be used in the specs?

Thanks,

Version 2.7.0 of Open API Documentation for Confluence was released recently, which restores the ability to limit and/or disable the Try it Out feature.

Hi Farshid,

Thanks for your interest in Open API Documentation for Confluence (and sorry we didn't see this question earlier).

When Swagger UI upgraded from 2.x to 3.x, a number of features that were previously supported in the earlier versions had not (yet) been implemented in the 3.x version. One of these missing features was the ability to restrict which HTTP methods were allowed for the 'Try it out' feature.

Over the past seven months, the Swagger UI team has been gradually restoring some of these missing features; but unfortunately the ability to restrict/disable Try it out is still outstanding.

With each new release of the Confluence add-on, we include in the release notes a list of "Features not yet implemented in 3.x", so please keep an eye on the release notes for when the feature has been reinstated. (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.oharagroup.confluence.plugins.confluence-open-api/versions#b1001310)

In the meantime, we will update our documentation to remove the old section describing how to disable Try it out, until such time as the feature has been restored.
