Cycle time report using eazyBI

Rodrigo Silva June 1, 2017

Hi,

Is it possible to create a report like this one:
image.png

Using eazyBI? X axis is representing the number of days to go from some status to another status (let's say todo to done), and Y the number of issues with that day count. So, in this example, we have 15 issues that took 2 days to complete a cycle (determined between any 2 choosen status).

I don't know how to produce something like that using eazyBI. Can someone please help me?

Thanks,

Hi,

by default, cycle times could be calculated by a measure "Days in transition status" used together with selected statuses (or status category) from "Transition status" dimension  (read more about change history analysis in eazyBI).

Though, it seems you need the cycle time intervals (issues with cycle time in 1, 2, 3, etc days) analysed together with issue count. For that, you may need to precalculate cycle time for each issue (using some scipted JIRA custom field, for instance, JIRA Misc or JavaScript calculated field) and import it as a custom interval dimension in eazyBI. Then you would be able to count issues by cycle time intervals.

Limitations: in that case, statuses that constituet the cycle should be strongly defined and included in this precalculation.
