Customfield no more editable in "Issue Detail Form" after adding the customfield to a behaviour,

Roberto Saltini October 6, 2016

After adding the "Planned Start" custom field to a behaviour, this custom field is editable only through the "Edit Form" but not in the "Detailed Issue Page".

Hi Roberto,

As Steven mentioned above this is the standard functionality of behaviours to disable inline editing on all fields that have a behaviour associated with them.

The reason for this is due to the fact that behaviours scripts are only triggered and can fire on the create and edit screens for an issue and so can not dynamically update fields on the issue screen.

I hope this helps.

Thanks

Kristian

Aren't behaviors triggered on transition screens as well?

Hi Roberto,

Yes they are fired on transition screens as well but not on the view issue screen.

Thanks

This is a known 'behavior' of the plugin. Behaviors do NOT support inline-edit. Writing a 'ScriptRunner Behavior' disabled inline edit for any field involved in said behavior.
