Could not load FunctionProvider class in new workflow

When running a SynapseRT transitition we get the following error message below.

What we have done to work around it was to remove a post step

Step 3 Ready for execution
Type: class
Class: com.go2group.jira.plugin.synapse.operation.AssignSubtestsFunction

then it "works", but I would like to understand what could be the underlying issue.

JIRA version v7.1.9#71013-sha1:1aa0586

SynapseRT version 8.3

Best regards

From SynapseRT 8.x onwards, you do not need these Function Providers anymore.  You can safely remove it from your Workflow Configuration.  SynapseRT 8.x does not insist any specific workflow/ workflow configuration.
