Connot log time with ictime enabled

We use the icetime plugin in order to be able to track time by start/stop method logging the actual start- and stop time an issue has been worked on.

When enabling the plugin, time can only be logged when solving the issue. Any attempt to log time on an open issue results in a message saying that the user is not a member of any team.
The affected developers all have permissions to log time and to modify issues. We're unable to relate to the term team used in the error message. Permissions are set using groups.

As per our phone chat it looks like in your case the functionality to deactivate teams & price lists on project level does not work properly (see https://interconcept.atlassian.net/wiki/display/ICTJP/Project+Teams#ProjectTeams-DeactivateTeams&PriceListFunctionality). I have filed an issue for this (https://interconcept.atlassian.net/browse/ICTIME-217), but in fact I could not reproduce the issue on our test systems. Maybe you could provide screenshots of the respective project configuration screen and the log work mask with the message?

That you can log work when resolving an issue on the "resolve issue screen" is due to the fact that in this case, you are still using the JIRA default functionality. If you want to get ictime features on such a screen, you need to replace the JIRA fields by a ictime custom field; just proceed like described here: https://interconcept.atlassian.net/wiki/display/ICTJP/Log+Work+Field

Under the ictime menu item, select Configure Projects. You will see a list of available projects. On the right, select the pencil icon to edit the project. Then select the "Teams & Price List" tab. If you want, you can create teams here and add users. Or, you can check the "Do not use Teams/Price Lists" checkbox to remove this constraint.
