Confluence Latex Plugin not working

Nuno Catarino April 10, 2013

I have Confluence v4.3.3 installed and the Latex Plugin (Confluence LaTeX v. 0.3 for Confluence 4.0 - 4.3.7 by Atlassian Labs), but it does not seem to work.

When I select either of the "Latex block" or "Latex inline" macros from the menu, the Preview does not show anything, and then the latex equation is not properly rendered in the page itself. Actually the Latex macro button itself cannot find the Latex plugin icon, and show a "?" instead.

Could you please tell me how to make the plugin work?

Thanks,

Nuno Catarino

There seems to be another plugin available as well though I haven't tested it.

Hi Nuno,

The 0.3 version seems to be broken. I found the source and made some minor changes to make it work on Confluence 4.3.7.

Will ask the developer to update the plugin.

Hi Ram - Do you happen to have the code for the Confluence 4.3.7 fix? We just upgraded to 4.3.7 and needless to say the older version of the Latex plugin is giving us problems. Thanks!

Thanks.

Both plugins are now working (although neither exports to pdf or word properly).
