Configuring description of the issue when you log time in Tempo

Hi,

is there any way I can force the user to write a certain number of characters in the description of the issue when they log time in tempo? More and more of my users just put "." in the description .. and it does make reporting a bit difficult.

Hi Ioana,

it is not possible to set a minimum of characters to be entered in the description field.

You might be able to get users to enter a better description by using the Timesheet approval process. Users have to submit their timesheets for approval and a supervisor can reject the timesheet if the worklog description is not as expected.
