Could you please expand the Sonar credentials section by clicking the "Anonymous login enabled" checkbox? In that section, you should be able to see the actual error message. If not, could you please check your Bamboo server log (BAMBOO_HOME/logs/atlassian-bamboo.log) to see if any errors are generated in there while saving the settings?
