Change the project of an issue using script runner

Praveen July 24, 2017

Hi, is it possible to change the project for a particular issue.

The scenario that I'm trying is to move certain issues failing a condition to a different project (Eg. "Proj1" to "Failed Proj"). Is it possible?

Yes it is. You should use the clone and link issue function.

You could use a post function in a workflow, that after a transition, it clones the issue to a project if it doesn't pass a transition, and then closes the original issue.

If this didn't help, please let us know.

Yep! thanks Daniel. I am able to acheive what is required using the clone function.

Thank you.
