Can the unlimited licenseb be used across multiple Jira instances?

Zhenning Bao January 17, 2013

Hi,

Our company are considering setting up two physical Jira servers. And we would like to purchase Timesheet plugin license too. Can the unlimited license be used across two Jira instances? Or do we have to buy twice?

Thanks

Zhenning

Hi Zhenning,

Yes, you need separate license, please see http://www.atlassian.com/licensing/marketplace#licensingandpricing-4

Though you may use developer license, for both, if this is the case.

Thank you.

I don't know the license for the plugin.

For your two Jira installations, you do need two licences. I suspect the timesheet plugin may follow that.

Atlassian are looking at Enterprise/site licensing, but I've not seen anything about it that says they have firm plans yet.
