We are using the Notification Assistant for JIRA to send emails when critical customer issues are created. We also add other email addresses that are mobilenumber@txt.att.net to send via SMS to our phones but those messages are hard to read because it doesn't handle HTML formatting well. Is there a way to create a new email template for these SMS messages that isn't HTML but does include fields from the ticket? How might this be done?
I know this is an old question, but it never got answered and we acquired the Notification Assistant for Jira app in July of 2019, so we're going back and trying to answer items like this. The short answer is that no this is not possible today, but I have filed an internal ticket (DEV-409 if you need to reference in a support ticket) to track this request. We're working on a major revamp of the UI and after that is completed, requests like this one will be onboarded.
