Can JIRA Subversion plugin connect one JIRA project with multiple SVN repositories?

Jeff Winget March 10, 2013

I have been asked to combine a couple JIRA projects. Both JIRA projects now point to different SVN repos. If I combine the JIRA projects, can I link to both SVN projects?

Hi Jeff,

JIRA Subversion Plugin doesn't join a project on a repository with a 1:1 relationship. You can add multiple repositories into the JIRA instance. The commits will be displayed when JIRA Subversion Plugin matches an issue key on the commit message.

Thanks Lucas. I already have many repos connected, so if I understand you correctly: as long as the SVN commit message contains a valid JIRA issue number, and the repo that the commit is made from is linked to JIRA, then the commit info will display on the issue.

Much appreciated!
