Can I notify a group of people (via user-picker field) when an SLA time has been breached?

Francesco C August 22, 2017

I would like to set up an automation rule to essentially notify users that have been set set as approvers within a request when the SLA timer I've created for the approval window has been breached.

I'd like to be able to use this notification to remind these users that there are requests pending their approval and to please review and provide a response.

Is this possible using the current options within Automation for JIRA?

Hi Francesco,

Although we don't have a trigger for directly responding to SLA breaches, we can run a schedule and find issues that have breached in the last X mins. Then it is fairly straight forward to send the email:

To send the email, you need to iterate over the Approvers.

Hope that is what you are after.

Cheers,

Nick

That's precisely what I was looking for. The syntax within the 'To:' field was not something I was able to work out so thank you!
