Can I create filters for my Gantt-Chart board?

It would be helpful to create JQL filters for the gantt board. For example, I only want to see 'open' tickets, or filter by assignee.

WBS Gantt chart for Jira doesn't provide the filtering function in Gantt (board). The workaround I can think of is to change the condition of your Jira issue search filter by an assignee or open tickets and use it to create the Gantt.
