Black Duck Hub Jira Plugin is not available for latest Jira versions

Alok Dath January 3, 2018

Hi,

We are planning to install the 'Black Duck Hub Jira Plugin' in our jira instance. Can someone confirm whether the plugin works with Jira 7.5.3 version? Also please confirm if it can work with Datacenter.

Thanks - Alok

Have a look at the link you gave to it - that shows the DC compliance and versions of Jira it is available for.

I was told that the link could have incorrect information hence decided to get confirmation from someone who is using the plugin. As per the link, the plugin will not work in DC and 7.5.3 Jira server version.

I think you should correct the person who told you the link might be incorrect.  The versions and information there are as close as you will get to an "official" line on whether an add-on is valid or supported.

Yes, it may be incorrect, it is written by humans, and we do know some vendors have said "DC Compatible" on some add-ons that were not really, and sometimes claimed compatibility for the wrong versions, but that's now rare, and it's telling you that an add-on can do something that it can't.  Where you are looking for someone to tell you the opposite.

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-: Thank you for your quick response.
