Best practice for running cross browser tests in Zephyr?

Peder Krohn January 12, 2017

I want to run the same tests in several different browsers/devices and wonder what would be the most efficient and orderly way to do this.

The best solution I've comed up with so far is to create a test cycle for each browser/device (ex "iPad portrait", iPad landscape", "iPhone...", "Firefox" etc.) and then add the test(s) to those cycles. The only downside I've van think of is that I have to create all those test cycles again if there will be more versions in the Jira-project.

Anyone with any other ideas on how to do this in a good and efficient way?

Hi Peder

Thanks for your interest in Zephyr.

The approach you have mentioned here is the best practise.

The only downside I've van think of is that I have to create all those test cycles again if there will be more versions in the Jira-project.----> You can use the Clone cycle option to create all those test cycles again in the same project for any version

Thanks
