Assignee in Gadget 'Assignee to Me in Gantt Chart' not selectable

In the above mentioned gadget of JIRA Gantt-Chart project plugin, the assignee in the dialog box is not selectable. Therefore the plugin itself is not usable.

Any hints...

We are using Jira 5.1.1
