Is it possible to add viewtracker to Confluence dashboard. Attempted Editing Global Layouts to no avail. Any ideas?

Hi Paul,

You can add the viewtracket macro in the Confluence Admin>>Global Templates>>Welcome Message. The Welcome Message appear in the dashboard so I believe this would achieve the result that you wish.

Hope this helps.

Instead of the vietracker macro itself, you can insert the hidden macro viewtracker-report in the welcome message or you use the reporting add-on from servicerocket to create your owb report.

the viewtracker suplier for the reporting add-on is described here: https://wiki.bitvoodoo.ch/x/bAh0AQ

Hi,

On Confluence 5.6.4 it shows error message if you try to add it to the dashboard (in Welcome Message or in Global Layout).

Error rendering macro 'viewtracker' : Unable to track views in current context!
