Add test to cycle error

njp May 2, 2016

The attached error screenshot is produced as follows:
1) Select Tests >> Plan Test Cycle.
2) Click on the wheel to the right of a test cycle (create one if it doesn't exist).
3) Select "Add Tests".
4) Enter an existing Zephyr Test issue for your project, then click Add. The error following error occurs (strange wording):

     "The following just happened:

       Tests added: -

These Tests could not be added

        Invalid: -

        Belongs to another project: -

Already present in this Test Cycle:  XXXX-830    (this was not true)

        Not a Test: - "
5) The test is added to the test cycle despite the error.

Another way which doesn't produce the error:
1) Open a Zephyr Test issue for your project, i.e. it is displayed in View mode.
2) Click on "More Actions" and select "Add to Test Cycle(s)".
3) Select the Version and Test Cycle for an existing test cycle, then click Add. The test is added to the test cycle without producing an error msg.

Hi njp

I believe we interacted over the ticket raised with Zephyr SUpport.Pasting the initial coment for solution given on your query for others benefit who have similar queries

The message below is not an error message but an information message (as per design) ie in case a test is added it shows the new tests added to test cycle across "Tests added:-".If in case the tests were not able to be added because of the reasons being "Belongs to another project" or already present in the test cycle and not a test issue type those tests would be displayed across each based on the reason
 "The following just happened:

         Tests added: -

These Tests could not be added

         Invalid: -

         Belongs to another project: -

Already present in this Test Cycle:  XXXX-830    (this was not true)

                Not a Test: - "
Now as you have said XXXX-830 was not already present in this test cycle ,can you create a sample test case and add to the test cycle and check whats the message that pops up .

Thanks & Regards
